BOYNEXTDOOR Returns This May with Genre-Defying New Mini Album ‘No Genre’

Rising K-pop sensation BOYNEXTDOOR (members Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak) has officially announced their comeback with a brand-new EP titled ‘No Genre’, set to release on May 13 at 6 PM KST.

The news dropped via the group’s official social media platforms on April 14, accompanied by a vibrant animated teaser. The animation depicts a character sprinting forward, leaping high into the sky as the release date and album name flash across the screen—amplifying global fan anticipation.

‘No Genre’ marks BOYNEXTDOOR’s fourth mini album and their first release since their digital single ‘One and Only I LOVE YOU’ in January. It follows their highly acclaimed third mini-album ‘19.99’, which launched in September 2023.

BOYNEXTDOOR has rapidly ascended in the global music scene. With ‘19.99’, they made a powerful debut on the Billboard 200 at No. 40, while also scoring their first million-seller in South Korea. Their January drop ‘One and Only I LOVE YOU’ hit No. 4 on Melon’s Top 100 within 24 hours and held steady in the Top 10 for weeks, maintaining its position in the most recent weekly charts.

The single also dominated Apple Music Korea’s Top 100 for an impressive 37 days straight and charted on both Billboard’s Global (Excl. US) and Global 200, signaling their international appeal.

The group recently wrapped their first solo tour, ‘BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR: KNOCK ON Vol.1’, covering 12 cities and 17 shows across Asia, including Tokyo, Singapore, and Jakarta. Due to overwhelming demand, encore performances are scheduled for Tokyo and Seoul.

As their musical influence reaches new heights, BOYNEXTDOOR continues to defy traditional K-pop boundaries with their unconventional style and genre-blending sound. With ‘No Genre,’ they’re not just dropping a new album—they’re making a statement.
