BOYNEXTDOOR Brings Romance and Laughter to ‘The Seasons – Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile’
On the June 16 episode of KBS2TV’s music talk show ‘The Seasons – Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile’, rising K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR appeared as special guests to promote their new single ‘I Feel Good.’
Host Park Bo-gum fondly recalled his first encounter with BOYNEXTDOOR during the Music Bank World Tour, expressing his warmth, “They greeted me so brightly. I regretted not returning it more warmly.”
The group opened their performance with their hit track ‘I LOVE YOU.’ Group member Unhak, who participated in writing the song, shared, “Romance was the key theme. Saying ‘I love you’ in every language felt poetic and timeless.”
The conversation turned playful when Park Bo-gum teasingly questioned, “How does the youngest member Unhak know about romance?” To which Unhak boldly replied, “Even if I don’t know what it means, I think I might fall in love just looking at you.” The unexpected confession drew laughter and led BOYNEXTDOOR and Park Bo-gum to share a heartfelt group hug.
Unhak’s admiration went a step further. “When I told my mom I’d be on ‘The Seasons,’ her first reaction was ‘Park Bo-gum will be on, right?’” he humorously revealed. Park Bo-gum responded with a sweet video message to Unhak’s mother, adding a touching moment to the show.
The highlight of the night was BOYNEXTDOOR’s performance of ‘I Feel Good.’ With a unique vocal styling where the members scratch their throats during the chorus, their technique caught Park Bo-gum’s attention. He eagerly attempted it himself, impressing the group who revealed, “It took us 8 hours in the studio to get it right.”
Bo-gum shared a tip on achieving the sound by mimicking a phrase from his Netflix series character. He then flawlessly impersonated “Hak-ssi Ajusshi,” originally portrayed by actor Choi Tae-hoon in ‘폭싹 속았수다.’ The unexpected and accurate imitation left everyone in stitches, adding a viral-worthy twist to the already entertaining episode.
This crossover of comedy, music, and genuine fandom exemplifies why ‘The Seasons – Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile’ continues to charm viewers both in Korea and internationally.
