BLACKPINK’s Rosé Named One of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025

Rosé, the globally acclaimed member of K-pop sensation BLACKPINK, has been named one of TIME magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People of 2025’. The highly-anticipated annual list was released on April 16 (local time) and features individuals who have made significant global impact across various fields.

The TIME 100 list includes power figures such as former U.S. President Donald Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and Argentine President Javier Milei. Among the few spotlighted South Koreans, Rosé was listed under the “Pioneers” category, while politician Lee Jae-myung earned recognition in the “Leaders” section.

Rosé’s inclusion comes after her recent collaboration with pop legend Bruno Mars on the song “APT.” gained massive international success. TIME highlighted her as both a “dynamic performer and songwriter,” adding, “Rosé captivates sold-out arenas not just as a top-tier girl group member but also as a solo artist.”

Actress Lily Collins, who contributed a tribute to Rosé in the magazine, described her as “an icon and a boss,” emphasizing her commanding presence as a soloist and a member of the world’s most influential girl group.

Known for her distinctive voice, sophisticated fashion sense, and cross-genre creativity, Rosé’s influence extends beyond music. Her recognition by TIME solidifies her place not only in pop culture but also in the broader landscape of global leadership and inspiration.
