BLACKPINK’s Rosé Named a Pioneer on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People List

On April 16th (local time), TIME Magazine unveiled its annual TIME 100 list—highlighting the ‘100 Most Influential People in the World.’ Launched in 2004, the prestigious list spans six categories: Artists, Icons, Leaders, Titans, Pioneers, and Innovators.

Among the honorees this year, BLACKPINK’s Rosé was named under the Pioneers category, solidifying her place as a global force in music and culture. The recognition celebrates individuals forging new paths and redefining norms. Rosé’s breakout duet with Bruno Mars, titled “APT.”, released in October of last year, became a worldwide sensation—cementing her status as a cultural trailblazer.

Actress Lily Collins, who penned the tribute for Rosé, praised her artistry, stating, “Rosé is a dynamic performer, a songwriter, a member of the world’s biggest girl group, and a formidable solo artist.” She went on to commend Rosé’s spellbinding stage presence, noting, “The way she captivates audiences is simply extraordinary.”

Following her musical acclaim, Rosé also dropped her first full-length album ‘rosie’ in December 2023, captivating global fans. From the chart-topping pre-release “APT.”, the heartfelt “number one girl”, to the critically acclaimed “toxic till the end”, where her acting in the music video drew praise, the album reflects her artistic depth and versatility.

Looking ahead, Rosé is set to continue her impactful journey with new projects slated for 2025—proving that her influence in the music world is only just beginning.
