BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa Dominate the UK Charts with Solo Hits and Star Collaborations

Kpop stars BLACKPINKs Rosé Jennie and Lisa make powerful solo entries into the UK music charts

BLACKPINK continues its reign as a global K-pop powerhouse with members charting across the UK music scene. According to the Official Charts released on May 9 (local time), BLACKPINK’s Rosé secured the 25th spot this week on the Official Singles Chart Top 100 with APT., her collaboration with American pop superstar Bruno Mars. Though she dipped one position from last week’s 24th, Rosé has now spent 29 weeks on the chart, surpassing BTS member Jimin’s solo hit Who from the album Muse, which charted for 28 weeks.

Meanwhile, Jennie’s solo debut album Ruby continues to attract global attention following a dazzling performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Her track Like Jennie landed at 51st place this week, slightly down from last week but marking her ninth week on the chart — a signal that Jennie’s solo impact is here to stay.

Adding to the BLACKPINK chart legacy, Lisa made her UK chart debut at number 69 with Priceless, a high-profile collaboration with Grammy-winning band Maroon 5. This marks Lisa’s first solo entry into the UK charts, further broadening her global reach.

Not to be overshadowed, new global girl group Cats Eye — formed by HYBE and Geffen Records — debuted at number 52 with their viral hit Gnarly. Already making major waves, the track recently topped Spotify’s U.S. Top Songs Debut Chart in the first week of May and is considered a strong contender for the Billboard Hot 100.

As K-pop continues gaining traction in mainstream Western charts, BLACKPINK and their extended musical alliances show no signs of slowing down, cementing their roles as cultural and musical icons on the global stage.
