ATEEZ’s Wooyoung Reflects on Global Tour, Dreams of Super Bowl Stage in Arena Homme Plus June Issue
South Korean K-pop sensation Wooyoung of ATEEZ is featured on the digital cover of the June issue of Arena Homme Plus, showcasing an expressive and boundary-pushing style in a series of captivating visuals. The editorial highlights Wooyoung’s playful and experimental aesthetic, donning a backwards cap and nail polish, embodying an aura of unfiltered freedom.
In the accompanying interview, Wooyoung opens up about concluding ATEEZ’s recent world tour and the emotional impact it had on him. “I felt a much greater sense of responsibility because the scale of the tour had gotten bigger,” he shared. “Everywhere we went, we were greeted with incredible energy and love. Singing in another language isn’t easy, yet so many foreign fans could sing our Korean lyrics better than I could imagine. That moved me deeply.”
On ATEEZ’s future goals, Wooyoung acknowledged their recent triumph on the Billboard 200, while setting his sights even higher. “It was an honor to hit No.1 on the Billboard 200,” he said. “Now the next goal is the Hot 100. Performing at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with artists I’ve admired for years was unforgettable. Having done Coachella, my dream now is to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.”
Wooyoung also spoke about his personal philosophy toward growth and success. “It doesn’t matter if your dreams come true at 30 or at 40. As long as I’m moving forward, that’s what counts. If I’ve grown at all compared to who I was last year, then I believe I’m on the right path. That thought helps me live each year with purpose.”
