Ahn So-hee Shines at the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival with ‘Layover Hotel’
South Korean actress Ahn So-hee is set to attend the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival with her latest film, Layover Hotel. This touching omnibus feature explores the lives of six passengers on a London-bound flight that makes an emergency landing in Kitakyushu, Japan.
Layover Hotel intricately portrays fleeting interactions, emotional reunions, heartfelt confessions, and self-growth experienced during an unexpected layover. Each character’s complex emotions are brought to life with meticulous detail.
In the film’s opening episode, Tit for Tat, Ahn So-hee plays the lead role of Su-yeon. Her portrayal captures the raw, authentic emotions that arise from life’s unpredictable detours, solidifying her reputation for delicate emotional acting, previously showcased in films like Single Rider, Moonlit Night, and Daechi-dong Scandal.
Beyond the big screen, Ahn So-hee continues to showcase her versatility on stage through the play Flower Secret. During the film festival, she will actively participate in the red carpet ceremony, audience talks (GVs), and various fan events, providing opportunities for direct communication with her fans.
