Actors Heo Sung-tae and Lee Sang-yi Reveal Bromance and Park Bo-gum Stories on ENA Show

On the upcoming 10th episode of the ENA variety show “I Missed You, Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young”, airing Sunday at 9:20 PM, actors Heo Sung-tae and Lee Sang-yi from Hitman will make a special appearance. Known for their dynamic bromance on screen, the two reunite for an entertaining and heartwarming episode filled with behind-the-scenes stories.

Heo Sung-tae, celebrated for his role in Squid Game, introduces the hosts to his all-time favorite local restaurant. This spot holds nostalgic memories from his corporate life and becomes a highlight for the show’s MCs, Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young.

As conversations turn to recent projects, Heo and Lee share heartfelt anecdotes about their colleague Park Bo-gum. Lee recalls a nerve-wracking underwater shoot, where Bo-gum calmed him by saying, “Don’t worry hyung, I’ve got you.” He elaborated on Park’s kindness, explaining how the actor tidied up the shower area after filming and always went the extra mile, even cleaning up dishes after meals. “He’s a beautiful person. Even the space he leaves behind is beautiful,” Lee added.

Not to be outdone, Heo shares that Bo-gum had gifted him a jacket on set after Heo casually complimented it. Surprisingly, Lee received the exact same jacket, adding another layer to their shared experiences and deepening their story of camaraderie with the rising star.

Heo also shared his intense prep for Squid Game, revealing he gained 17kg in just one month per director Hwang Dong-hyuk’s request for his character. He further entertained viewers by talking about his viral ‘Heocaine’ impersonation on Saturday Night Live Korea, which landed him an appearance in the opener for Psy’s famous “Wet Show.”

Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yi surprised everyone by revealing that prior to his acting days, he won a UCC contest reenacting Rain (Jung Ji-hoon)’s performance of ‘Rainism’. Despite being off the stage for years, he delighted the crowd by dancing to ‘Rainism’ mid-meal. In another surprise, Lee disclosed that he will appear alongside Rain in the upcoming Netflix original series Bloodhounds 2, calling it a dream come true as a lifelong fan.
