A Thrilling Start: ‘House of Girls’ Untitled Artist Showcase

Diverse Reactions to First Performances
The Anticipated Debut
The second episode of House of Girls, produced by Contents Brick, aired on Friday at 11 PM on ENA and showcased the much-anticipated debut of the ‘Untitled Artists.’ This week, participants were tasked with a ‘Cover Song Mission’ where they competed for the coveted ‘Title’ position.
Intense Judgement
The ‘Artist Makers’: Kim Yuna, Yang Dong-geun (YDG), Shin Yong-jae, and Soyou, took their seats as judges. They began with Seori, who previously covered Kim Hyun-sik’s ‘Like Rain, Like Music.’ The tension was palpable as Shin Yong-jae commented, “It was an unsatisfying stage,” noting that Seori’s charm wasn’t fully displayed. In contrast, YDG said, “From the first verse, I thought of my wife. Music is successful if it reaches even one person.”
Rising Stars
Following Seori was YooA, famed for her busking video reaching 17 million views. YooA rocked the stage with BLOO’s ‘Downtown Baby,’ exuding a free spirit and captivating the audience with her performance. The untitled artists in the green room were mesmerized, with YDG raising his arms in applause. He remarked, “She tore the song apart; her unique position is well-earned.” Kim Yuna added, “It was impressive how she maintained a strong performance without losing her breath.”
Who Will Prevail?
The question remains – who will enter the ‘Title Zone’? The fierce competition’s first results will be revealed on the next House of Girls episode on ENA.
