On a recent episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Problem Child in House’ (옥탑방의 문제아들), the wedding of the versatile entertainer, Kim Jong-min, became the talk of the town as he visited the show to reminisce about his unforgettable day.
Kim, who recently tied the knot, shared his initial experience of breaking the news to his Koyote bandmates. “At first, no one believed me until I handed out the invitations,” he said, laughing.
#### Words of Encouragement & Special Gifts
Kim highlighted the heartwarming reaction from his friend Shinji, “She wasn’t worried at all. She thought everything was perfect and reassured me I made the right choice.”
An unexpected highlight of the day was a remarkable gift from fellow entertainer Kim Jong-kook. Known for being frugal, Jong-kook surprised everyone by gifting Kim a refrigerator, which he bought with his personal card, worth around 3 million won.
Kim mentioned, “It was very touching and unexpected since Jong-kook is known for being careful with his spending.” In return, Jong-kook reminded everyone of a luxury gift Kim had given his mother, further enhancing the camaraderie.
#### Musical Performances That Touched Hearts
The wedding wasn’t devoid of emotional performances either. When singer Lee Juck performed his song “It’s Fortunate”, it stirred deep feelings among the guests. Notably, Lee Hyo-ri was moved to tears, while Haha and Byul couldn’t hold back their sobs.
Listening to the tale, Kim Jong-kook humorously remarked, “Haha must be low on male hormones these days,” generating laughter.
#### A Lavish Event & Financial Adjustments
The luxurious ceremony sparked speculations of financial strain, which Kim dispelled by stating, “It wasn’t really a deficit. I’ve been fixing up my schedule and all payments have been settled.”
