A First Date Turns Into Crisis in ‘Resident Playbook’ Episode 11

In the upcoming 11th episode of tvN’s weekend drama Resident Playbook (created by Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung; written by Kim Song-hee; directed by Lee Min-soo), viewers will witness Go Youn-jung and Jung Jun-won’s characters, Oh Yi-young and Gu Do-won, finally embarking on their long-awaited romantic date — only to be faced with an unexpected emergency.

Having officially become an office couple after Oh Yi-young’s unwavering pursuit of her senior resident Gu Do-won, the duo has struggled to find quality time together due to their hectic hospital schedules. Secret hand-holding in quiet corridors was as far as their romance had progressed — until now.

With a precious day off finally in their hands, the couple heads out for a proper date, opting for a cozy restaurant setting. Photos released tease a sweet, lighthearted moment as Oh Yi-young indulges in pasta while Gu Do-won watches her with heart-melting affection.

However, just as the romance begins to bloom, an unforeseen emergency erupts in the restaurant, throwing the couple out of their intimate bubble and back into the roles of quick-thinking doctors. The two immediately shift gears to perform emergency treatment on the spot.
