NCT’s Doyoung Unveils ‘Listening Experience’ Art Show Ahead of New Album ‘Soar’ Release
NCT’s Doyoung Launches Artistic Listening Experience in Seoul for ‘Soar’
In celebration of his highly anticipated second solo album ‘Soar’, Doyoung of NCT is inviting fans to a one-of-a-kind ‘Listening Experience’ — a multisensory installation where art, sound, and emotion collide.
From June 6 to 8, the immersive event will take place at Sweet Spot Stage Ikseon (Nudit Ikseon) in Seoul, offering attendees a preview of selected tracks from the album along with a compelling visual art exhibition inspired by the sound and mood of each song.
The space is set to feature visual displays crafted by Doyoung himself, including photography capturing the essence of ‘Soar’ and a special media installation for the title track ‘Hello, Universe (Memory)’. Fans will explore atmospheric sculptures and multimedia artworks paired with audio, creating a full sensory experience that brings Doyoung’s music to life.
Adding to the creativity, the exhibit is the result of collaborations with artistic figures such as Feel Good Project Team, artists Jang Jin-seung and Yeon Nu-ri, and designer Kim Da-hee — all of whom contributed to interpreting Doyoung’s emotional and sonic world through art.
One of the highlights will be Doyoung’s live participation on June 6, where he will host an exclusive album listening session. Fans will hear every track from ‘Soar’ while Doyoung shares behind-the-scenes stories and personal insights into each song.
Another interactive feature titled ‘Doyoung’s Room’ is open from May 23 to 31 at 12-16 Jahamun-ro 6-gil, Jongno-gu, in Seoul. This space visualizes the journey of Doyoung’s dreams and aspirations and invites fans to write letters, offering a deeply personal and relatable fan experience.
‘Soar’ includes a total of 10 tracks, led by the title song ‘Hello, Universe (Memory)’, and will be available on major music platforms beginning June 9 at 6 PM KST.
This hybrid of music, art, and community offers a fresh model for how artists can deepen fan engagement and share their creative vision beyond the digital realm.
