Global superstar V of BTS dazzled fans worldwide by topping Instagram’s most-liked post of 2025, proving his enduring influence even during military service.
On February 23, V shared a post captioned, “Reporting Kim Byungjang’s survival! D-107,” uploading multiple photos. The post received 10 million likes in under 12 hours and has since amassed an extraordinary 16.38 million likes and 1.74 million shares, securing the top spot globally for the year.
Global Stars Follow in Second and Third
Following V, Billie Eilish‘s post earned 16.37 million likes, while Cristiano Ronaldo took third with 14.27 million likes. V and Billie were the only stars to surpass 15 million likes globally in 2025. Impressively, while Billie reached the milestone in 17 days, V did it in just 7 days.
Breaking Guinness Records – Fastest Milestones
Since BTS launched individual Instagram accounts on December 6, 2021, V has consistently broken records. He gained 1 million followers in 43 minutes and 10 million within 4 hours and 52 minutes, both Guinness World Records.
