K-Pop Rookie Boy Band KickFlip Heats Up with Comeback Teaser for ‘FREEZE’

Up-and-coming K-Pop sensation KickFlip is back in the spotlight. JYP Entertainment has unveiled the official teaser for their highly anticipated title track ‘FREEZE’, ramping up excitement ahead of their second mini-album release ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ scheduled for May 26 at 6 PM (KST).

The teaser showcases KickFlip’s playful charisma and youthful freedom. Members Gyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minjae, Keiju, and Donghyun bounce through school corridors, rooftops, and basketball courts, turning everyday life into vibrant rebellion with skateboards and basketballs in tow. The funky soundtrack is laced with intriguing lyrics such as “Kick out! We don’t need no education. Follow me. Flip now! Today is vacation. So stop what you’re doing. Freeze.”

Following their January debut album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ and lead single ‘Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)’, this new seven-track album marks a major step in establishing their sound and direction. Featuring songs like ‘제끼자’, ‘언젠가 태양은 폭발해’, ‘Electricity’, ‘Complicated!!’, ‘Code Red’, and ‘How We KickFlip’, the group participated in parts of the songwriting process, emphasizing their creative input and identity.

KickFlip isn’t stopping at the studio. The group is confirmed to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago from July 31 to August 3, and the newly announced Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025 from August 23 to 24. As one of the most talked-about K-pop rookie acts, their appearances are generating serious buzz on the global music scene.

To celebrate the release, KickFlip will host a comeback showcase on May 26 at 8 PM at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
