BTS Jin’s ‘Echo’ Debuts at No.1 Across iTunes Worldwide

Jin from BTS returns with Echo topping 63 iTunes charts globally with heartfelt single Don’t Say You Love Me

On June 16, Jin of BTS (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) made a stunning return with his second mini album Echo. The EP dramatically soared to No.1 on both the ‘Worldwide iTunes Albums’ and ‘European iTunes Albums’ charts upon release.

By morning of June 17, Echo had reached the top of the iTunes ‘Top Albums’ chart in 63 countries and regions, including Germany, Brazil, the UK, Japan, and France.

The title track, ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’, also achieved No.1 on the ‘Worldwide iTunes Songs’ and ‘European iTunes Songs’ charts, sweeping first place in 61 countries and regions such as France and Japan.

In fact, all seven songs from the EP dominated the ‘Worldwide iTunes Songs’ top 10: ‘Nothing Without Your Love’ at No.2, ‘Rope It’ at No.3, ‘Background’ at No.4, ‘Loser (feat. Yena (Choi Ye-na))’ at No.6, ‘Journey With the Clouds’ at No.7, and ‘To Me, Today’ at No.9.

The emotionally rich music video for ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ also drew global acclaim, landing in the YouTube ‘Trending Videos Top 10’ in 26 countries, including the U.S., Australia, and Russia. Fans and critics praised the cinematic storytelling and Jin’s evocative performance.

The comeback’s firestorm spread to North America. In major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, streets were adorned with posters of the new single, catching the attention of local fans and passersby alike.

Echo encapsulates a deeply personal theme — the echoes of life’s emotional moments as told through Jin’s eyes. Built around seven unique tracks, the album reinterprets universal life feelings with cinematic soundscapes and heartfelt melodies.

To mark the album’s release, Jin hosted a special showcase titled ‘Don’t Say You Love Me @Seongsu’ on June 17 at Anderson C in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, delivering a live premiere of the single. The following day, on June 18, a special fan event including a high-touch session and immersive space for the A.R.M.Y (Adorable Representative MC for Youth) community will take place at a local Seoul theater.

Jin’s new project is more than just a follow-up—it’s an emotional wave that resonates far beyond South Korea, echoing in hearts around the world.
