IVE Graduates from ‘Gen Z High’ with Laughter and K-Pop Flair
K-pop powerhouse IVE—composed of An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Leeseo—recently thrilled fans yet again with the second episode of season 6 of their variety content series 1.2.3 IVE, released via their official YouTube channel by Starship Entertainment.
This episode features the members as students of the fictional ‘Gen Z High School,’ showcasing their playful take on high school life through a series of comedic and endearing skits.
Leeseo, still a high school student in real life, entered the scene carrying a Korean lunch tray, hilariously eating ‘honey rice cake cereal’ in silence. The moment sparked laughter when An Yu-jin demanded “just one bite,” prompting a teasing response from Rei, who scolded her for always stealing bites from others.
The highlight unfolded as the group jumped into a mock student council election. Promising social media privileges and decorated grad photos, Rei captured the class presidency. Following this, during self-study time, the girls unsuccessfully attempted to complete a stealthy note-passing dance challenge, ultimately getting caught by ‘President Rei.’
Class continued with various K-pop games including AI lyric readings, emoji interpretations, and song-guessing in one second—where Jang Won-young stole the spotlight with her quick wit and agility.
The Gen Z vibe carried into break time, as the group played quirky hand games like ‘Ham-bookie Song’ with a penalty twist. The game left An Yu-jin scribbling her name in the air using only her hips—a moment that had everyone in stitches.
The day wrapped up with P.E.-themed games like ‘Open the Dongdaemun Gate’ and ‘Taking Photos with Eyes Closed.’ Despite comical mishaps, Gaeul and Liz took home the W in one game, while Rei triumphed in another.
The emotional ‘graduation ceremony’ capped the episode, with the girls proclaiming how fast time flew by and ending in hilarious fashion by yelling “DM us!” as they exited the gym in true Gen Z form.
1.2.3 IVE continues to air new episodes every Friday at 7:30 PM KST, streaming exclusively on IVE’s official YouTube channel, further cementing their dominance in K-pop variety content.
