BTS’s Jin Tops Global Charts with Mini Album ‘Echo’
BTS member Jin has made a powerful global comeback with his second mini album Echo, immediately topping the Worldwide iTunes Album and European iTunes Album charts upon its release on June 16.
By 7 AM on June 17 KST, Echo had clinched the No. 1 position on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 63 countries and regions, including Germany, Brazil, the UK, Japan, and France. The album’s title track, Don’t Say You Love Me, was equally successful, topping both the Worldwide and European iTunes Songs charts, while also reaching No. 1 in 61 countries in the Top Songs category.
The album features seven tracks — each resonating like unique echoes of emotions and reflective experiences. In addition to the title single, songs such as Nothing Without Your Love (No. 2), Rope It (No. 3), Background (No. 4), Loser (feat. YENA) (No. 6), With The Clouds (No. 7) and To Me Today (No. 9), all found spots within the Worldwide iTunes Top 10 — a testament to Jin’s sweeping appeal.
The music video for Don’t Say You Love Me is also receiving rave reviews for its cinematic storytelling and heartfelt performance by Jin. It trended in YouTube’s ‘Top 10 Trending Videos’ in 26 countries including the US, Australia, and Russia.
In North America, Jin’s comeback is creating a significant cultural ripple. On June 17, Jin is set to host ‘Don’t Say You Love Me @Seongsu,’ an event where he will perform the new single for the first time at Anderson in the Seongsu district of Seoul. The next day, he will meet directly with ARMY — BTS’s fans — at a cinema screening in Seoul, offering a special high-touch event and a dedicated space celebrating the album release.
