Code Kunst, Lee Know, Ryeoun and More Join Actor Lee Jang-woo’s Delicious Life on ‘I Live Alone’
MBC’s popular reality program ‘I Live Alone’ once again brought laughter and warmth to viewers with its 596th episode aired on February 16. This week’s spotlight was on actor Lee Jang-woo, known for his candor and culinary passion, as he shared an unfiltered glimpse into his solo lifestyle.
Wearing a bold cow-print top and green pants, Lee made an unforgettable fashion statement that immediately caught the attention of fellow cast members. Code Kunst joked, “Are you going for a cow concept today?” while comedian Park Na-rae added playfully, “Your belly looks like a bullfrog’s!”
The actor continued to impress with his meat-cutting skills at his favorite butcher shop, performing a “Meat Disassembly Show” that showcased his familiarity with food and meat handling. “Just looking at pork makes me hungry,” he quipped, living up to his nickname, ‘Chewing Master.’
Later, Lee hosted a cozy home feast for Stray Kids member Lee Know and actor Ryeoun. “There’s a 12-year age gap between us, but we get along well,” said Lee. “Back when they were rookies and hungry, I’d treat them to meals. And now, they’ve both made it big — I’m so proud.”
Ryeoun, who recently gained 10kg for his role in Netflix’s ‘Weak Hero Class 2’, cheerfully shared, “All it takes is eating well. I quickly returned to my original weight after filming.” Watching the footage, co-host Jun Hyun-moo humorously commented, “Some rubber bands just don’t snap back,” prompting laughter from Lee who added, “When I was that age, I bounced back quickly too!”
The fun didn’t stop there. During a phone call with his favorite restaurant owner, Lee was advised, “You should lose some weight if you’re thinking of getting married!” to which he awkwardly replied, “That’s not why I called…”
Lee Jang-woo has been publicly dating actress Jo Hye-won, who is eight years younger, since 2023. The couple first captured fans’ hearts in the 2018 KBS2 drama ‘My Only One’. Over the years, Lee has frequently voiced his thoughts about marriage on various shows, further raising fans’ anticipation.
‘I Live Alone’ continues to connect with audiences by portraying the relatable and humorous moments of stars living independently, making it an ongoing staple of Korean variety programming.
