HyunA Shares Serene Moments from Her Trip to Japan

Kpop star HyunA reveals her candid side in Japan while opening up about health and tattoos

HyunA, the beloved K-pop icon, recently offered fans a glimpse into her refreshing new chapter. On June 15, she posted a series of photos on her social media from a leisurely trip to Japan—without any caption, letting her aura speak for itself.

In the photos, HyunA flaunted a softer, more natural look, foregoing heavy makeup while radiating a surprisingly elegant charm. Her unadorned visuals and effortless style drew admiration from fans, proving once again that her star presence doesn’t require glam or glitter.

One of the standout images features HyunA playfully posing in a Japanese variety store, wearing a cartoon character costume, showing off her cheeky and humorous side. Fans loved seeing this lighthearted moment—proof that even megastars need downtime to recharge and enjoy the little things.

The singer, who famously married fellow artist Yong Jun-hyung in October last year, recently opened up about her ongoing transformation journey. In a candid appearance on comedian Lee Yong-jin’s YouTube channel, she shared her experience of undergoing tattoo removal. “It’s been about a year since I started the process. My mom encouraged me to try living with a clean slate—so I went for it. It’s incredibly painful, and I’ve had around four sessions. I’m taking a break now,” she said.

She also touched on her physical health, revealing a noticeable weight gain. “I’m healthier now, which is great. But I do miss wearing those tiny outfits from before. Back then, at 40kg and size 44, everything fit perfectly. I’m now working on my body, hoping to be back in shape by August.”

HyunA’s raw honesty and genuine vibe continue to resonate across global audiences, positioning her not only as a bold fashionista but also as a relatable figure navigating life’s changes.
