IVE’s Rei Shares a Heartwarming Tour of Her Nagoya Home with An Yujin
Rei of K-pop girl group IVE recently offered fans a rare glimpse into her personal life by showcasing her family home in Nagoya, Japan. The video, titled [IVE LOG] Healing Time at Nagoya Home, was shared via the IVE Official YouTube Channel under the management of Starship Entertainment.
The video follows Rei as she returns to her hometown amidst IVE‘s fan concert tour in Japan. Arriving first in Nagoya, Rei expressed her sentimental feelings, saying, “It feels different coming here to work as a member of IVE after a long time. My goal is to meet and make eye contact with as many DIVE (the group’s fandom) as possible.”
She headed straight to her family home for a comforting homemade meal before rehearsal. Her cozy home displayed cherished memorabilia including photos of Rei and IVE, magazines featuring her solo covers, and newspaper clippings celebrating IVE’s historic Tokyo Dome concert. A special sticker prepared by her sister featuring their pet dog Porsche and an affectionate message moved Rei deeply.
Rei was especially touched by her grandmother’s home-cooked meal, casually dubbing her house “the best restaurant in Nagoya.” The feast included beef udon, fish cakes, salmon sashimi, mochi, strawberries, steak, kimchi, and more. “This taste is beyond words!” Rei exclaimed.
Rei was later joined by fellow member An Yujin, who also indulged in the grandmother’s delicacies and admired the homely atmosphere, saying, “It feels like sleeping surrounded by IVE.” After their first night back, the pair relaxed and bid fans a charming “good night.”
Following the first successful day of the Nagoya concert, Rei returned to the house, enjoying light night snacks like salad and pizza toast while reflecting on the warm reception from local fans. “Seeing the Nagoya DIVEs feels like seeing my own family,” she shared.
Even after heading to Fukuoka for another show, Rei came back to Nagoya for more healing. Fans were treated to her natural self — trying on orange-blush makeup, sporting red-rimmed glasses, munching on salmon onigiri and aloe yogurt on the train, and simply enjoying downtime. “I hope DIVE likes seeing this laid-back side of me too,” she said with a smile.
Currently, Rei showcases her diverse charms through the YouTube series ‘Follow Rei’, aired every Thursday at 7 PM KST on the “따라해볼레이 by 섭씨쉽도” channel.
Meanwhile, IVE continues to soar in popularity and was recently honored with the title of Most Influential Girl Group at the 2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Award.
