tvN’s weekend hit, Resident Playbook, is setting new records in Korea’s entertainment scene. The medical drama, affectionately known as ‘언슬전’, has captured audiences with its blend of emotional storytelling and realistic hospital life. In its tenth episode, the series achieved a viewership rating of 9.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area, making it the No.1 show during its time slot across cable and general programming channels.

According to Good Data Corporation, a K-content data analysis firm, Resident Playbook leads the TV-OTT Integrated Buzz Rankings for four consecutive weeks. Its main cast members—Go Yoon-jung (Oh Yi-young) and Jung Joon-won (Koo Do-won)—have consistently clinched the first and second places in the cast buzz rankings. They are now joined by Kang Yoo-seok (Eom Jae-il), Han Ye-ji (Kim Sa-bi), and Kim Hye-in (Myung Eun-won), solidifying the show’s grasp in pop culture conversation.

The show’s related videos are also achieving viral traction, racking up between 100 to 200 million views weekly. As of now, the total video view count is approaching an astonishing 740 million—proof of the show’s surging popularity both online and offline.
