Jung Seung Hwan Unveils Spring Emotions Through New Digital Single ‘In Spring’

South Korean balladeer Jung Seung Hwan releases his much-anticipated digital single In Spring today, April 13 at 6 PM KST, on major streaming platforms. Known for his emotionally rich vocals and heartfelt lyricism, Jung offers a duality of love stories in his latest spring-themed tracks.

The title track, One More Day, delves deep into the pain of a love that lingers. Co-written by Jung Seung Hwan himself, the song captures the melancholic push and pull of trying to move on, only to find oneself drifting back to memories of a lost love. With its classic ballad structure, the track echoes the sentiments of Jung’s early work, amplified by his unmistakably soulful and resonant voice.

Renowned composer Seo Dong-hwan, recognized for his previous work such as A Friend, All That Time, Star, and Anywhere, Anytime, reunites with Jung, promising a synergy that fans have long awaited. Their collaboration once again blends delicate piano-driven melodies with deep lyrical nuance, making One More Day a quintessential emotional ballad of the season.

The emotional depth of the song is further heightened by the official music video in which Jung Seung Hwan stars. Portraying a man who quietly lingers beside the woman he loves, only to swallow his unspoken confession, Jung’s subtle yet painful acting adds an extra layer of sincerity to the haunting track.

Another gem on the release is the B-side track We’ll Meet Again on the Spring Road Where Cherry Blossoms Fall, a medium-tempo ballad brimming with seasonal whimsy. Built around acoustic guitar, the track pairs Jung’s warm vocals with sentimental lyrics that grow more nostalgic with each listen. It paints a vivid soundscape of fleeting spring moments and reconnections beneath falling cherry blossoms.

In Spring reflects two contrasting yet deeply personal stories of love—one aching with unvoiced longing and the other sweet with anticipation. Both tracks employ gentle instrumentation that gradually blooms into emotional climaxes, showcasing Jung Seung Hwan’s masterful control in conveying both despair and tenderness.

Jung Seung Hwan’s In Spring is now available across all major music platforms. With this release, he reaffirms his position as South Korea’s premier
