Kpop Rookie Stars KickFlip Set to Flip the Script with ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’

KickFlip unveils new concept photos ahead of their comeback with Kick Out Flip Now mini album

JYP Entertainment’s rising boy group KickFlip is revving up for a high-impact comeback with their second mini album, ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ set for release on May 26. Alongside their promotional rollout, they’ve revealed stunning new concept photos capturing both group and unit dynamics—fueling anticipation among global fans.

The newly unveiled images, posted at midnight on May 13 via social media, showcase each of the seven members—Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon—in playful yet rebellious school settings. From snacking in class to brandishing sports gear like baseball gloves, basketballs, and skateboards, the members exude youthful chaos and raw charisma. Their dynamic poses and overturned desks symbolize a break from convention, heralding a fresh era in high-teen concept artistry.

This stylistic duality follows their first teaser images, where they donned classic school uniforms evoking a nostalgic high school vibe. The new set flips that image, presenting a vibrant divergence that perfectly complements their album’s theme—breaking molds and flipping norms.

The album’s title track ‘FREEZE’ sees contributions from members Kyehoon, Donghwa, Minje, and Donghyeon, showcasing their artistic growth. In addition, the seven-track compilation includes songs like ‘제끼자’, ‘언젠가 태양은 폭발해’, ‘Electricity’, ‘Complicated!!’, ‘Code Red’, and ‘How We KickFlip’. Each track highlights KickFlip’s unique sound and bold ambition to upend the current K-pop paradigm.

Riding the wave of momentum, KickFlip will be hitting major international stages this summer. They’ll be performing at Lollapalooza Chicago from July 31 to August 3, bringing their electrifying energy to the iconic Grant Park. Following that, they will head to Thailand for Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025 on August 23–24, establishing their global presence as ‘K-pop’s next super rookie.’

Mark your calendars—KickFlip’s new mini album and title track ‘FREEZE’ drop on May 26 at 6 PM (KST), followed by a comeback showcase at 8 PM. With unparalleled charm and boundary-pushing visuals, KickFlip is proving they’re not just another idol group—they’re here to flip the game entirely.
