BTS’s Jimin Becomes Artistic Muse at FOCUS Art Fair New York 2025
Jimin of BTS continues to inspire artists across the globe, this time starring as the central muse for a new collection to debut at FOCUS Art Fair New York 2025. Korean illustrator Lee.K, known for his emotive monochromatic portraiture, will unveil his latest series inspired by Jimin at the exhibition, scheduled for May 15–18, 2025, in the heart of Chelsea, NYC.
Lee.K captured attention on social media by revealing a glimpse of his new artwork—crafted solely in black, it portrays Jimin’s sharp masculine features and dreamlike, sultry charisma. The power of Jimin’s image is conveyed with a haunting elegance, expressing both physical beauty and an inner mystique that’s become synonymous with his global appeal.
On its official Instagram account, FOCUS Art Fair celebrated Lee.K’s upcoming exhibition with the caption: “Lee.K’s muse BTS Jimin is coming to New York. His face is perfect from every angle. That’s why Lee.K continues to recreate him through his bold emotional lens.”
This is far from Lee.K’s first tribute to Jimin. He has showcased portraits of the BTS icon in acclaimed exhibitions worldwide, notably during the FOCUS Art Fair at Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in September 2022. The exhibit attracted long lines of fans and international visitors, eager to witness Lee.K’s visual interpretation of Jimin.
