The latest episode of MBC’s Hangout with Yoo, airing May 10, features a heartwarming and hilarious segment titled “Delivery Hangout – Hong Kong,” where cast members Lee Yi-kyeong, Park Jin-joo, Lee Mi-joo, and Joo Woo-jae deliver gifts to a memorable Hong Kong couple from their previous “Conscience Appliances” episode.

The cast was captured strolling through the vibrant streets of Hong Kong, fully immersed in the local charm. But it was actor Lee Yi-kyeong who unexpectedly stole the spotlight.

In scenes reminiscent of a fan meeting, Lee Yi-kyeong was swarmed by Hong Kong fans eager to snap pictures, leaving him visibly stunned. “What is going on?” he exclaimed in surprise at the overwhelming reception. Even inside a restaurant, his unexpected popularity left him in disbelief.

This sudden fame led fellow cast members to joke, “Why is Yi-kyeong so famous here?” Lee had been recognized for his notorious “trash husband” role in a drama—a character Hong Kong fans clearly remembered.

Meanwhile, Joo Woo-jae also had his moment. Seeing a fan recognize him, he lit up with hope—only to discover he wasn’t remembered by name, but as “Byun Woo-seok’s best friend.” The group burst into laughter at the awkward misidentification.

Humorously embracing the situation, Woo-jae began asking, “Do you know Byun Woo-seok?” as his global identity. The crew joked, “How is this happening, even in Hong Kong!” as they celebrated his new found fame by association.
