B.I Returns With Reflective Third Album ‘Wonderland’
B.I Makes a Powerful Comeback With New Album ‘Wonderland’
After a two-year hiatus since his second studio album TO DIE FOR, Korean artist B.I is back with the highly-anticipated full-length album Wonderland. Unveiling both a teaser website and full tracklist on May 8, B.I sets the stage for a deeply personal project that offers a glimpse into his evolving identity and artistic growth.
Wonderland is an 11-track journey through B.I’s reflection on lost youth, dreams, and the intricacies of love. The artist describes the album poignantly, stating, “That’s how I became ordinary. My youth ended, and this album was completed.”
Emotional Collaborations and Stand-Out Tracks
The lead single, Ferris Wheel, features acclaimed artist Heize, blending B.I’s signature lyrical rap with Heize’s emotive vocals for a haunting sonic experience. On this track, B.I reflects, “Looking back, I may have missed out on a lot,” encapsulating themes of regret and remembrance.
Other notable tracks include Parade, Free Fall, To the Moon, Lover Boi, and Firefly—each one adding to the emotional depth and conceptual coherence of the album. Gaze, featuring Kang Yoon-jung, particularly stands out for its heartfelt portrayal of comfort found in another’s eyes.
Through tracks like Hug Me and Miss Me, B.I delves into the fragility of emotional sincerity and the bittersweet nature of goodbyes. Meanwhile, Stopwatch and Romance capture the melancholic tone of youth on the edge of maturity.
Wonderland is set to be released across all major streaming platforms on June 1, with pre-orders beginning on May 9. K-pop fans and music lovers alike are eagerly awaiting B.I’s return, anticipating an album that balances introspection with musical sophistication.
