Ji Jin-hee Joins Disney+ Thriller ‘Nine Puzzle’ as Kim Da-mi’s Mysterious Uncle

Veteran South Korean actor Ji Jin-hee is set to make a special appearance in the upcoming Disney+ original crime-thriller series ‘Nine Puzzle’. Fans are already buzzing about his role as the only living relative of the lead profiler played by Kim Da-mi.

‘Nine Puzzle’ tells the haunting story of professional profiler I-na (Kim Da-mi), who was the sole witness in an unsolved crime that occurred a decade ago. Now thrust back into the dark mystery, she teams up with veteran violent crimes detective Han Saem (played by Son Suk-ku)—a man who has always viewed her as a prime suspect. The plot intensifies as the two are forced to cooperate when new murders begin to mirror those from the cold case, each one tied together like pieces of a complex puzzle.

Ji Jin-hee takes on the role of Yoon Dong-hoon, a former high-ranking police officer and I-na’s uncle, whose relationship with her provides crucial emotional depth to the show.
