Koyote’s Kim Jong-min Shares Wholesome Wedding Moments and Post-Ceremony Highlights
Just four days after tying the knot, Kim Jong-min—best known as a member of the legendary K-pop group Koyote—shared heartwarming behind-the-scenes moments from his wedding. The singer spent a day with fellow Koyote members Shin Ji and Bbaek Ga, revealing stories that touched fans and sparked smiles across the internet.
In a candid moment in the car, Kim Jong-min showed Shin Ji his wedding guest list while returning gratitude messages to attendees. When the Mentor Corps asked cheekily about how much money the couple received, Kim responded humorously, “Thanks to all your enthusiastic support—we ended up in the red!” eliciting laughter.
Shin Ji recalled a touching moment from the ceremony, mentioning how Lee Hyori was moved to tears while listening to a congratulatory song performed by Lee Juck. For Kim, however, the standout performance came from TVXQ. He shared, “My wife is a fan of U-Know Yunho. When TVXQ walked out, she literally let go of my hand!” He emphasized that her joy made the musical surprise totally worthwhile.
Following the wedding, the trio participated in another joyous event where Kim surprised Shin Ji and Bbaek Ga—who had given special performances at the ceremony—by planning his own token of appreciation. “He became the king of events after getting married,” Shin Ji playfully praised. Kim explained that the idea came from his wife’s encouragement.
Adding a personal touch, Kim read a handwritten letter saying, “When you two get married someday, I’d love to take a couples trip together. That’s my dream. Koyote is more than just a group—we’re a family blessed by fate.”
The mood turned light again when Shin Ji joked, “If we keep working as Koyote even after we all get married, we might just make it into the Guinness World Records!”
Kim concluded by mentioning how naturally his married life is unfolding, saying he’s already accustomed to daily routines like dishwashing and taking out the trash. The heartfelt stories from Kim Jong-min not only showcased his new life chapter, but also highlighted the unbreakable friendship within Koyote.
