K-pop Sensation TWS Claims Fifth Music Show Victory with Energetic Hit

South Korea’s breakout K-pop group TWS (Twenty Four Seven With Us) proved their soaring popularity once again by clinching the No.1 spot on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ aired on May 3, with their latest title track, “Isn’t It Marvelous to Run Following Your Heart?”

This marks TWS’s first win on Show! Music Core and completes their remarkable sweep of five major music shows in a single week. The group previously secured wins on SBS MTV / SBS funE’s ‘The Show’, MBC M / MBC every1’s ‘Show Champion’, Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, and KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’.

During their acceptance speech, the members expressed heartfelt appreciation to their fans. “We promised to deliver performances we can be proud of to everyone who loves us, and thanks to our fanbase, we feel like we are achieving those goals one by one,” they shared. They particularly highlighted that member Dohoon served as MC while Youngjae stepped in as special MC, making the win all the more meaningful.

Taking the stage in pastel sky-blue outfits that enhanced their youthful charm, TWS delivered a high-energy performance of their hit song. With springy choreography and an upbeat vibe, the group perfectly captured the essence of youthful freedom and vibrant energy.

Their title track, characterized by a charming and trendy “refreshing beat,” continues to climb the digital charts. It debuted at No. 95 on the Melon Daily Chart on April 28 and has since risen to No. 84 as of May 2, earning attention for its addictive melody and engaging performance.

Fans are now turning their eyes to SBS’s Inkigayo on May 4, where TWS is set to appear. If they clinch another victory, they’ll achieve their first-ever music broadcast Grand Slam of 2024 – conquering all major weekly music shows.
