The ranking also factored in public influence, estimated income, viewership ratings, awards, and moviegoer numbers, establishing a more comprehensive benchmark for celebrity status in South Korea.

Netflix Variety Debut Dominates Global Charts

Jin’s debut as a solo reality star in the recently released Netflix original Kian’s Bizarre B&B impressed fans and critics alike. The show ranked #1 on Netflix Korea and became the first variety-based, non-survival K-content to enter Netflix’s global charts.

Following this, Jin topped the TV-OTT non-drama cast popularity ranking, further cementing his place as a breakout television personality.

Anticipation Builds for Echo Release & Global Fan Tour

The multi-talented superstar is gearing up to release his second EP titled Echo on May 16th, 1 PM KST. Shortly after, Jin will embark on his first solo fan concert world tour starting June 28 in South Korea and extending to 18 shows across nine cities, including Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, Amsterdam, and London’s iconic The O2 Arena.
