This week’s KBS2 Immortal Songs (originally titled Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend) airs its 704th episode with a heartfelt tribute to legendary trot singer Joo Hyun-mi, celebrating her 40th anniversary in music. Known for timeless hits like “Love at a Glance,” “Rainy Yeongdong Bridge,” and “Just for a Moment,” Joo’s influence transcends generations.

One of the show’s highlights includes the appearance of Cheon Rok-dam, a persona adopted by artist Lee Jung. Host Lee Chan-won pointed out, “While Lee Jung already has five trophies, this marks Cheon Rok-dam’s debut appearance.” To that, Cheon expressed, “It feels surreal, like a dream.
