Kpop artist Lee Seok Hoon leaves MBC FM4Us Brunch Cafe to focus on music and musicals

South Korean singer and musical actor Lee Seok Hoon has officially wrapped up his role as a DJ on ‘LEE SEOK HOON’S BRUNCH CAFE’, the beloved morning radio program aired on MBC FM4U. His final show aired on May 25, bringing his three-year stint to a heartfelt close.

Since March 28, 2022, Lee Seok Hoon had been the comforting morning voice for thousands of listeners, engaging every weekday at 11 A.M. with audiences under the affectionate nickname ‘Kundi’. Praised for his calm yet sincere delivery, his sweet-toned voice and conversational charm earned him widespread acclaim and loyal fans.

His hosting talents did not go unnoticed. In 2022, he clinched the Radio Rookie Award at the MBC Entertainment Awards, followed by the Excellence Award in 2023, recognizing his steady presence and connection with audiences through the show.

Now, Lee Seok Hoon sets his sights back on his roots—as a vocalist and theatrical performer. He plans to focus on creating new music and preparing for future album releases.

Recently, his powerful vocals won him the final victory on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs’ with a moving performance of ‘Erase You in My Sadness.’

Lee also returned to the theater earlier this year, playing the role of Gwynplaine in the new season of the musical ‘The Man Who Smiles’, marking his comeback after five years.

This June, he will be featured on stage at Beautiful Mint Life 2025, a popular Korean music festival, offering fans another chance to experience his dynamic artistry live.

As he leaves behind the DJ console, anticipation builds to see what’s next for the multi-talented star who continues to impress through excellence in every performance medium.
