K-Pop Meets Disney: ILLIT’s Yunah and Minju Join Kylie Cantrall on New Single ‘See U Tonight’

Kylie Cantrall teams up with ILLITs Yunah and Minju for new song See U Tonight releasing globally

Global music fans are eagerly anticipating the release of ‘See U Tonight (feat. YUNAH & MINJU of ILLIT)’, a genre-blending collaboration between Disney breakout star Kylie Cantrall and K-pop girl group ILLIT members Yoonah and Minju. Scheduled to drop on July 7 at 1 PM KST, the track will be available worldwide via major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

Produced by BE:LIFT Lab, the single aims to combine Cantrall’s trendy, youthful musical flair with ILLIT’s fresh sonic identity. A spokesperson from BE:LIFT Lab remarked, “You’ll hear a new side of ILLIT through this track. Anticipate the energetic synergy between the artists.”

Buzz is already building around this pop-powerhouse team-up, especially considering both acts’ impressive influence among Gen Z audiences. The collaboration bridges two strongholds of youth culture: K-pop and Disney.

Kylie Cantrall, who rose to prominence through her leading role in Disney+ Original Movie ‘Descendants: The Rise of Red’, is also known for her edgy pop tracks like ‘Boy for a Day’, ‘Goodie Bag’, and ‘Denim’. Her influence grows not only on screen and in music but also on social media, where her fashion-forward style continues to captivate fans worldwide.

ILLIT, meanwhile, has made waves since their debut in 2023. Their breakout title track ‘Magnetic’ earned them spots on both the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Top 100 — a historic feat for a debut K-pop act. The song’s point choreography went viral on TikTok and other short-form platforms, launching global dance challenges and securing Top Song rankings on TikTok Year-End charts in Korea (4th) and Japan (3rd).

The teaser for this collaboration was planted when both Kylie and ILLIT shared mutual admiration via their official social media channels. Cantrall sparked excitement among fans with the comment, “Will I see u tonight ILLIT?” — now revealed to be more than just words.

To top off the group’s momentum, ILLIT is set to host their first fan concert ‘2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL’ on July 7–8 at Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. All tickets for both shows sold out during the pre-sale period, testifying to their immense popularity.

This collaboration marks a milestone in cross-cultural pop, signaling a new era of music that merges continents, styles, and audiences.
