tripleS Returns to China’s Premier Festival, Cementing Status as K-pop Trailblazers
Rising K-pop collective tripleS, managed by Modhaus, is set to make a bold return to one of China’s most iconic music events. On July 4, tripleS will take the stage at the 2025 Strawberry Music Festival in Beijing, marking their second consecutive appearance at the country’s flagship festival.
The Strawberry Music Festival, known for its sweeping presence across China’s major cities, has become one of the largest and most influential music events in the country. Its 2024 edition covered 18 cities, solidifying its reputation as the premier music brand in China.
Last year, tripleS stood out as the only K-pop act to perform at the 2024 Guangzhou Strawberry Music Festival, creating a powerful connection with local fans and boosting their regional reach. Their return to the festival in 2025 underscores their growing influence and reaffirms their place as torchbearers of K-pop in China.
The group’s continued engagement with Chinese fans is especially notable given the ongoing restrictions on Korean entertainment in mainland China. Their invitation to perform again at the Strawberry Music Festival suggests that they are being recognized as one of the leading voices of Korean pop culture abroad.
In parallel with their upcoming festival performance, tripleS ASSEMBLE 25 will release a new album on July 12 at 6 PM KST, featuring all 24 members as a complete unit. Fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating content that expands the group’s creative scope, beginning with the title track “Are You Alive (깨어)”, which was chosen through fan polling by the global fandom WAV.
Building anticipation, the group has already unveiled teaser images and the first music video teaser for Are You Alive, hinting at a dramatic and emotionally charged aesthetic that aligns with their futuristic and conceptual artistry. As their comeback gears up, all eyes are on tripleS to see how they will shape the next wave of global K-pop influence.
