Nam Gyu-ri Lights Up the Pink Carpet at CannesSeries with ‘The Ghostly Lullaby’
Veteran Korean actor Nam Gyu-ri attended the 8th Cannes International Series Festival (CannesSeries) with her latest project, The Ghostly Lullaby, being invited to the festival’s non-competitive lineup. Accompanied by castmates including Choi Jong-nam, Hong Soo-hyun, and Han Dani, Nam turned heads at the Pink Carpet held at the Palais des Festivals’ Grand Theater.
On April 28 (local time), Choi Jong-nam and Nam Gyu-ri officially kicked off the CannesSeries schedule with interviews and photo calls held at the historic Hôtel Majestic. That evening, they walked the vibrant Pink Carpet, the festival’s signature red carpet alternative, in front of hundreds of global media and fans.
The following day, the cast attended the official screening of The Ghostly Lullaby: My Happy Home at the Grand Theater. The film mesmerized the audience and critics alike with its eerie storytelling and artistic direction, fueling anticipation for the rise of Korean horror dramas worldwide.
Choi Jong-nam delivered a standout performance, portraying a middle-aged man with a chilling aura. His subtle yet powerful expression and intense screen presence earned sustained applause from the audience.
