Jeon Hyun-moo’s Plan 2: Food Adventures and Nostalgia in Incheon

Jeon Hyunmoo and Kwak Tube explore local favorites in Incheon on Jeon Hyunmoos Plan 2

The 27th episode of Jeon Hyun-moo’s Plan 2, co-produced by Maeil Broadcasting Network (MBN) and Channel S, aired on May 2 and showcased Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Joon-bin) revisiting Incheon for their second journey through the port city. This time, their adventure is sparked by fan feedback as they embark on what they call the ‘Viewer’s Plan’.

One of Seoul’s popular seaside getaways, Wolmido, served as their first stop, where Jeon Hyun-moo gazed over the wide expanse of the ocean with a nostalgic sigh. “Wolmido on a weekend morning with Kwak Tube… Really?” he remarked, recalling, “Back in the day, I came here a lot.”

He went on to explain the purpose of their return to Incheon: “We received tons of DMs through our official show socials from local viewers recommending restaurants we had missed.” Sticking true to the fans’ lead, they chose a place hailed as Incheon’s oldest hangover soup restaurant with an 81-year legacy, located in the Shinheung-dong tool district.

Here, the duo discovered a local delicacy: a rich ‘woogeoji haejangguk’ (hangover soup with cabbage leaves), visually unique and paired with a special garlic sauce. Filming an authentic mukbang session, Jeon Hyun-moo joyfully declared, “The viewers are always right!” giving dual thumbs up to the recommendation.

The food journey didn’t stop there. Excited by the discovery, Jeon Hyun-moo teased the next phase of their viewer-led tour—a legendary tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) spot known to draw lines as early as 7 AM. Adding more surprise, Kwak Tube announced he had invited a food buddy to join them.

“You invited someone without telling me?” Jeon Hyun-moo exclaimed, visibly surprised.

Kwak Tube replied with a playful boast, “This friend can stand shoulder to shoulder with Song Joong-ki, Lee Je-hoon, and aespa.” Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly guessed, “Is it Kim Tae-ho PD?” leaving fans curious and excited for what’s next in this heartfelt, viewer-supported food venture through Incheon.
