Emotions and Secrets Unravel as TF Team Faces a New Turning Point in ‘Divorce Insurance’

Emotions run high as Divorce Insurance unveils betrayals confessions and redemption in episode 9

In the latest episode of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Divorce Insurance’, the TF Team takes a crucial step forward amidst mounting internal conflict and corporate intrigue. Episode 9, aired on the 28th, revealed shocking truths, heartfelt confessions, and an unexpected team revival after a tense season of misjudgments and accusations.

The tide began to turn with a sincere confession from Jeon Narae, which cleared Kang Handeul of data leak accusations, much to the relief of the TF Team. Their potential disbandment was halted just in time, preserving not only the team but the fragile trust among its members.

As the team grew closer navigating the storm, Jeon Narae dropped a bombshell—Best Insurance had formally requested approval for launching the divorce insurance product. This revelation sparked disbelief, plunging the team into deeper turmoil.

The plot thickened as Kang Handeul was pulled into an internal audit due to suspected data leakage. Meanwhile, Ahn Jeonman accidentally overheard a conversation between Jeon Narae and Executive Vice President Jung Jungchi, revealing that Jeon had been leveraging the divorce insurance for a strategic transfer to China’s branch—a move that questioned her loyalty.

For Kang Handeul to be exonerated, Jeon Narae’s cooperation was vital. Yet her blunt statement rejecting teamwork left Ahn Jeonman disheartened. While Jeon Narae wrestled with her conscience after learning that Jung Jungchi had colluded with Best Insurance, it was Ahn Jeonman’s heartfelt encouragement—as a friend rather than a professional—that moved her to confess the entire truth to the team.

Although shocked, the TF Team appreciated the gravity of Jeon’s decision. Kang Handeul, in particular, was grateful. Ultimately, Kang proved his innocence, presenting an alibi from his time spent in Gorangae Village with Lee Eunsik during the leak incident.

The final puzzle piece was identifying the mysterious man who aided Jung Jungchi. Quick to act, the TF Team recognized the person in question as Team Manager Oh Jeongdo. After a high-stakes pursuit led by Noh Gijun and Ahn Jeonman, Oh finally confessed. His testimony brought Jung Jungchi’s crimes to light, leading to his indictment by the audit department.

The storm calmed with the leak incident resolved. In a touching moment, Jeon Narae, feeling alone after the ordeal, found comfort as Ahn Jeonman reached for her hand—hinting at a budding emotional connection.

Meanwhile, the bond between Noh Gijun and Kang Handeul was strengthening. To lift the weight of past highs and lows, Noh surprised Handeul by decorating his gloomy apartment with sparkling Christmas-themed lights. In this intimate space, Handeul opened up about his struggles with his unsupportive parents, deepening their emotional intimacy.

With the TF Team reactivated, a new challenge emerged. Kim Seonman, an officer from the Financial Supervisory Service, arrived for a new consultation. Known publicly as part of a picture-perfect marriage with his influencer wife Han Yeoreum, Kim’s case seemed solvable. However, after revealing the marriage was a facade, Kang Handeul firmly stated, “You can’t stop this. Kim Seonman and Han Yeoreum need to divorce.” This powerful statement set the tone for the team’s next emotionally charged mission.
