TVXQ Sets New Record with Historic Performance at Tokyo Dome
K-pop royalty TVXQ capped off their monumental TOHOSHINKI 20th Anniversary LIVE TOUR ~ZONE~ at the iconic Tokyo Dome, marking a remarkable milestone in their illustrious career. The tour, which commenced in November last year in Saitama and spanned nine major cities including Aichi, Hiroshima, Osaka, Fukui, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Kanagawa, and Tokyo, consisted of a staggering 22 performances and attracted an impressive 350,000 fans.
Through their Tokyo Dome concerts held from April 25 to 27, TVXQ achieved an unprecedented record of 33 performances at Tokyo Dome and a total of 92 dome shows nationwide, once again breaking their own record as the foreign artist with the most Tokyo Dome and national dome concerts. These achievements reaffirmed TVXQ’s status as true top-class icons of Asia.
The final show on April 27 carried especial significance as it coincided with TVXQ’s Japanese debut anniversary. Major Japanese media outlets including Sports Nippon, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, Sankei Sports, and Daily Sports issued special editions highlighting TVXQ’s enduring popularity and industry influence.
Delivering an upgraded stage production, TVXQ thrilled fans with reimagined performances of beloved hits such as Hug, Purple Line, and Humanoids. Their seamless stage presence and dynamic energy wrapped up the 20th debut anniversary celebrations, which included album releases, TV appearances, magazine features, pop-up events, and the live tour itself.
Following their triumphant tour finale, TVXQ is set to perform at SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Mexico City on May 10 and Los Angeles on May 12, continuing their global celebration.
