ENHYPEN Unleashes Dark Desires in Upcoming EP ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’
Global K-pop sensation ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) is returning this June with their 6th mini album ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’, and they’ve set the internet ablaze with intriguing visuals that hint at a dark, emotional narrative.
On May 24, the group dropped a moving poster and logo animation via their official social media channels. These teasers offer the first glimpse into the mood and core message of their upcoming release. The logo animation features the album title being overtaken by black graphics, subtly evoking a brooding intensity. Meanwhile, a vivid red title ‘MAKE YOU MINE’ writhes across the screen in the moving poster, instantly capturing fans’ attention.
According to their agency BE:LIFT Lab, the new EP explores the burning desire one feels for a loved one, expressed through ENHYPEN’s unique emotional lens. This continues the group’s signature storytelling approach, which has seen them chronicle the journey of a boy crossing boundaries and falling in love with a counterpart from a starkly contrasting world.
The thematic consistency and cinematic universe ENHYPEN has built over time have not only solidified their artistic identity but also raised anticipation for how they will now express long-suppressed desire in this new era. Enthusiasm spiked even further when the group revealed the album title onstage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 19, moments after their second performance wrapped. Their surprise reveal became a viral moment on platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

Their full-length album ‘ROMANCE: UNTOLD’ achieved triple million-seller status, followed by record-breaking first-week sales of 1.4 million copies for its repackage, ‘ROMANCE: UNTOLD – Daydream’. ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’ drops on June 5 at 1 PM KST, coinciding with a global online & offline fan showcase at 8 PM KST. Album pre-orders began on May 25 at 11 AM KST.
