Epik High’s Tablo and BTS’ RM Reunite for Powerful New Track ‘Stop The Rain’

South Korean hip-hop icon Epik High‘s Tablo has officially announced a new collaboration with global sensation BTS leader RM. The highly anticipated track, titled ‘Stop The Rain’, is set to drop on May 2 at 1 PM KST across major online streaming platforms.

Tablo teased the release on April 25 through his official social media, unveiling a moody teaser video that features the distinct voices of both artists layered over sounds of falling rain. The visual cuts to a symbolic playing card—depicting a fallen angel and a character holding an umbrella—hinting at the conceptual fusion of Epik High and BTS’ artistic universes.

‘Stop The Rain’ isn’t a spontaneous collaboration. According to Tablo, the track was completed nearly two years ago. The song blends Tablo’s introspective lyrical style with RM’s charismatic vocal depth, offering fans an emotionally charged sonic experience. Notably, this marks the pair’s first joint project since the 2022 release of ‘All Day (with Tablo)’, a track featured on RM’s debut solo album, Indigo.

This reunion has already sparked excitement within the global K-music community, as fans eagerly await the synergy between two of Korea’s most respected artists. Their collective artistry is expected to deliver yet another impactful musical statement.

Tablo continues to connect with fans across platforms, notably through frequent uploads to his YouTube channel. His most recent solo project, PUMP COLLECTOR’S EDITION, released in October last year, also garnered attention, particularly the title track, 미슐랭 CYPHER.

Mark your calendars—Tablo and RM’s ‘Stop The Rain’ might just be the emotional anthem of the season.
