Ko Hyun-jung Sends Coffee & Snacks to Support Uhm Jung-hwa on Drama Set
Korean superstar Ko Hyun-jung recently surprised fellow actress Uhm Jung-hwa with a thoughtful treat, sending a coffee and snack truck to the set of Uhm’s upcoming Genie TV Original Drama, “My Golden Star”.
On June 24th, Uhm Jung-hwa took to Instagram to post a carousel of photos and clips from the surprise, captioning it: “Hyun-jung, thank you so much for this amazing surprise. I’ll buy you a meal soon. I’m so grateful.”
The images show the cozy atmosphere of the drama set transformed by a mobile coffee and snack truck, which featured supportive messages from Ko. One banner read: “Uhm Jung-hwa, our precious legend, the ultimate combo is here!” Another added, “Enjoy delicious food and coffee and have strength for today’s shoot!”
In the upcoming series “My Golden Star” (Korean title: 금쪽같은 내 스타), set to be released in the second half of 2025, Uhm plays the dual role of Bong Cheong-ja and Im Sera. Bong Cheong-ja is a former top-tier celebrity who mysteriously vanished from stardom and lost 25 years of memories. Suddenly grounded in the life of an average middle-aged woman, she sets out on an emotional, tear-and-laughter-filled journey to reclaim her past and spotlight in showbiz.
Uhm described the project as “so fun and meaningful” and revealed her excitement about working with the passionate team behind the drama.
With the heartfelt support from Ko and Uhm’s dedication to her transformation for the role, “My Golden Star” is already building anticipation as a must-watch romantic comedy that promises both laughs and heart.
