K-Indie Sensation Daybreak to Headline 2025 LOVESOME Festival in Seoul

South Korea’s beloved K-indie band Daybreak is set to electrify audiences once again as the final headliner of the 2025 LOVESOME Festival, held on April 27 at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul. This marks the group’s second consecutive year taking the main stage at the festival, further cementing their status as the ‘Kings of Korean Festivals.’

The LOVESOME Festival, known for its unique theme — “a musical picnic with books” — annually selects a featured book and blends literature with live performances, creating a one-of-a-kind cultural experience.

Daybreak (Lee Won-seok, Kim Sun-il, Kim Jang-won, and Jung Yoo-jong) is preparing a dynamic setlist that includes their chart-topping hit “Neol Deureotda Nwatda” (unofficial English title: “Lifted You Up and Let You Down”), in addition to songs from their latest mini album, SEMICOLON, released in December. Among them, “Rhythm, I Bameun” is already drawing attention for its sultry tones and rich groove.

Following their electric performance as headliners of the 2024 edition of LOVESOME, anticipation is building for what surprises and musical mastery Daybreak will bring in 2025. Their energetic stage presence and polished live delivery have earned them a fervent following across all ages.

In addition to LOVESOME, Daybreak’s 2025 spring tour schedule is heating up. The band will also perform at the Seoul Botanical Garden Spring Festival on April 26, followed by a set at the iconic Seoul Jazz Festival 2025 on May 31. With each stage, Daybreak continues their spectacular run as one of Korea’s most beloved live acts.

Daybreak’s ongoing resilience in Korea’s crowded music scene is a testament to their musical craftsmanship, wide-ranging appeal, and the comfort their songs provide to listeners who crave both nostalgia and innovation.
