K-Pop Rookie Group NEXZ Radiates Youthful Vibes in Dreamy ‘Slo-mo’ Teaser

JYP Entertainment’s promising rookie group NEXZ is turning back time in the most heartwarming way. On April 23, the label unveiled a teaser for “Slo-mo,” the fifth track on the group’s upcoming mini album ‘O-RLY?’, set to release on April 28.

Featuring members Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki, the video teaser captures a blissful slice of youth. From playful moments like leader Tomoya being teased while napping, to scenes of the boys riding bicycles, feeling the breeze, and enjoying sunlit afternoons—it all paints a vivid picture of memories that feel slow, sweet, and unforgettable.

“Slo-mo” explores the emotional sentiment that even amidst the fast pace of life, the moments shared with loved ones stay frozen in memory, like a slow-motion sequence. The track fuses vibrant sounds with rhythmic grooves to create a lively yet nostalgic soundscape. During a recent YouTube Live session held on April 21, the members commented, “It’s a beautiful song with meaningful lyrics.”

The full mini album, ‘O-RLY?’, drops on April 28 at 6 PM KST. On the same day, NEXZ will take to the stage for their comeback showcase titled ‘NEXZ COMEBACK SHOW O-RLY?’. The event will be globally broadcast through Mnet and M2’s YouTube channels at 8 PM KST, offering fans their first look at the live performance of the new title track.
