ATEEZ Secures First-Ever American Music Awards Nomination, Cementing Global Stardom

South Korean boy group ATEEZ has officially been nominated for the ‘Favorite K-Pop Artist’ category at the 2024 American Music Awards (AMAs), one of the three most prestigious music award shows in the United States alongside the Billboard Music Awards and Grammy Music Awards.

The nomination, announced on June 23 (local time), marks a significant milestone for the group. This is the first time since their 2018 debut that ATEEZ has been recognized at the AMAs, emphasizing their growing impact and elite status in the global music industry.

Earlier this year, ATEEZ claimed the ‘K-Pop Artist of the Year’ award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, further solidifying their rising influence among international audiences.

Beyond awards, ATEEZ’s commercial success has also drawn attention. According to the industry data firm Luminate’s 2024 Year-End Music Report, their 10th mini album Golden Hour: Part.1—which features the title track ‘Work’—ranked 4th in CD sales in the U.S. in 2024, with an impressive 250,000 copies sold.

As ATEEZ rides this wave of global popularity, the group has also announced their highly anticipated 2025 world tour, titled ‘In Your Fantasy’, which will span across South Korea, North America, and Japan. The tour will kick off in grand fashion on July 5 and 6 at South Korea’s Inspire Arena in Incheon, promising upgraded performances and unforgettable fan experiences.

With critical acclaim, high sales, and award nominations piling up, ATEEZ is not only topping charts but rewriting what it means to be a ‘world-class artist’ in the K-pop industry.
