TVING’s ‘One Week Before I Die’ Drops Full OST Album — A Youth Romance Perfected in Sound

The original soundtrack (OST) album for the TVING original series ‘One Week Before I Die’, starring Gong Myung and Kim Min-ha, has officially dropped on June 23. According to the production team, the compilation features 5 vocal tracks and 23 score pieces, released across major music streaming platforms at 6 PM KST.

The series is a youth fantasy romance that follows Hwi-wan, played by Kim Min-ha, who reunites with her first love Ram-woo (Gong Myung), now a grim reaper. The emotional reunion and their journey unfold over six episodes currently available for binge-watching on TVING, with weekly broadcasts on tvN every Thursday and Friday at 10:40 PM (KST).

The OST features a star-studded lineup including Yuju (of GFRIEND), Loco, emotional vocalist Jae-yeon, Kim Tae-rae of ZEROBASEONE, songwriter Lee Ji, and American newcomer Bruce Hunter Madrid. Each track intricately complements the show’s emotional beats and has received enthusiastic responses from fans worldwide.

One highlight is Yuju’s solo version of the beloved duet “Spring Is Gone by Chance,” originally performed with Loco, now reimagined with a fuller band sound for an even more emotional impact. The pop-rock duet “Best Luck” features Loco and Jae-yeon, blending nostalgic rock vibes with contemporary pop polish.

Kim Tae-rae’s solo “If you” captures the delicate longing between the two leads, while Lee Ji’s “Seasons” delivers heartfelt storytelling on the bittersweetness of first love. Bruce Hunter Madrid’s track “Monsters in the Dark” showcases an acoustic pop aesthetic, exploring themes of inner darkness and courage.

Premiered earlier at the Busan International Film Festival in the prestigious On Screen section, ‘One Week Before I Die’ has built strong word-of-mouth since its initial release on June 3. As the drama concludes its arc, the comprehensive OST album serves as a lasting emotional keepsake for fans worldwide.
