K-pop Group TWS Sets New Personal Sales Record with ‘TRY WITH US’
Rising K-pop group TWS is making waves with their powerful comeback. Their third EP, TRY WITH US, sold an impressive 456,557 copies on its first day of release, securing the #1 spot on the daily album charts, according to Hanteo Chart. This marks a new personal best for the group, whose previous single album, Last Bell, had first-day sales of 338,719 copies.
The album is already earning international recognition, especially in Greater China, climbing the iTunes and Apple Music album charts. Following the success of their previous three albums, all certified Half-Million Sellers, expectations are high that TRY WITH US will push TWS to new career highs.
The group is also seeing momentum on music streaming platforms. The album’s title track, “Is It Not Cool to Follow Your Heart?”, featuring an energetic teen pop sound, quickly rose to high ranks on Bugs and Genie Music real-time charts post-release. It debuted at #99 on the Melon Top 100 at 11 PM on June 21, climbed 13 positions by midnight, landing at #86.
TRY WITH US is a story told through six tracks that capture the fiery spirit of turning 20—a time of bold new beginnings. From shy boys struggling with “first encounters” to youth fearlessly facing new challenges, the album celebrates growth and the joy of running forward together.
TWS has kicked off music show promotions starting with M Countdown. As a ‘fifth-generation all-rounder’ group known for strong vocal performance, they are scheduled to showcase live singing prowess on various top Korean radio programs including Lee Eun-ji’s Gayo Plaza on KBS Cool FM, Wendy’s Young Street on SBS Power FM, and Hyojung’s Volume Up from Oh My Girl on KBS Cool FM.
With skyrocketing sales, chart dominance, and powerful live vocals, TWS is set to take the next step toward global stardom.
