Go Youn-jung in Talks for New Drama by ‘My Mister’ Writer

South Korean actress Go Youn-jung is staying booked and busy. Currently gaining praise for her role as first-year resident Oh I-young in tvN’s hit medical drama ‘Resident Playbook’, she’s also set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series ‘Does This Love Translate?’ later this year.

According to her agency on June 21, Go is currently reviewing an offer to star in the highly anticipated drama ‘Everyone Is Fighting Their Own Inadequacy’. The show is the latest project from renowned screenwriter Park Hae-young, best known for penning emotionally charged hits like ‘Another Miss Oh’, ‘My Mister’, and ‘My Liberation Notes’.

Directing the project is Cha Young-hoon, the acclaimed filmmaker behind emotional favorites such as ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ and ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri’.

In another exciting twist, fellow actor Koo Kyo-hwan is also reportedly considering a role in the same drama, fueling anticipation for a potential powerhouse casting duo.

If confirmed, this role could further cement Go Youn-jung’s status as one of Korea’s most versatile and in-demand actresses, showing a continued rise from her breakout performances to becoming a leading name in internationally recognized productions.
