K-pop’s New Girl Group HITGS Set to Debut With ‘Things We Love : H’
K-pop’s latest sensation, HITGS, is raising anticipation among global fans as they approach their official debut. From June 16 to 18, the group began unveiling the third wave of promotional photos and videos for their upcoming debut single album, ‘Things We Love : H’, through official social media channels.
After initial teaser drops featuring members Iyoo and Seohee, the spotlight turned to VV, Seojin, and Hyerin. In the newly released content, VV dons a mint-colored outfit with a white apron, seen baking and preparing for a debut-themed party. Her adorably unique look is accentuated by a heart-shaped hairpin and a playful bob haircut, setting her apart from the rest of the group.
Seojin charms with props like jellies and lemons, evoking a fresh and bubbly vibe. She’s also seen holding a vintage camcorder, surrounded by glittery balloon letters spelling out ‘HITGS’, creating a whimsical, celebratory atmosphere.
Hyerin is shown baking treats that represent HITGS’s identity, fully immersed in party preparations. Her innocent expression and delicate visuals capture the essence of youthful femininity, striking a chord with fans around the globe.
Formed under H Music Entertainment and led by producers Kim Kang-hyo and Jang Hyung-sik, HITGS is H Music’s first-ever girl group. The name HITGS is an acronym for Hip, Innocent, Teenager, Girls, Story, reflecting their mission to narrate what young girls love through music and artistry.
‘Things We Love : H‘ marks HITGS’s musical debut and features two tracks: the title song ‘SOURPATCH‘ and the B-side ‘Never Be Me‘, both infused with messages of youthful dreams and aspirations. The album is backed by a team of internationally renowned producers who have previously worked with top-tier K-pop idols like WENDY, aespa, ZEROBASEONE, and RIIZE.
Taking the performance element to another level, the choreography is crafted by Ling, a prominent dancer from the runner-up crew Jam Republic from Mnet’s hit dance competition show ‘Street Woman Fighter 2‘.
The debut single album ‘Things We Love : H‘ will be available on all major streaming platforms at 6 PM KST on June 28.
