Winter recalled the event during her conversation with the host, Jang Do-yeon, who brought up the surprise broadcast incident and asked how it all happened. “There’s a video forever encapsulated with your voice,” Jang noted, “What happened with those casual humming and chatters at the backstage?”
Winter explained lightheartedly, “We were in the waiting room. After hours of sitting while getting ready with hair and makeup, my throat became hoarse. I joked, ‘Where’s that delicious smell coming from?’ when a curling iron met hair spray, making it smell like something was cooking.”

Winter recalled how her bandmate Karina mentioned that her voice was heard, but without context, Winter assumed Karina meant her voice had already gone hoarse. “I replied, ‘Did I? My voice isn’t gone,’ assuming the hoarseness was being discussed. Later, our manager showed me the video fans uploaded, and I was genuinely shocked. ‘Is the world playing a prank on me? What’s this about?’ I thought,” Winter shared.
Jang joked about how the unexpected incident would have sparked a range of thoughts in Winter’s mind. Winter admitted, “I did wonder if I had said anything odd. What did I do? How much got captured? Surprisingly, a lengthy part did and it actually gave me a fright.”
