Liz’s Baseball Pitch Debut
Starship Entertainment’s gem, Liz, known for her remarkable vocal prowess and captivating visuals as a member of the popular K-pop group IVE, is set to make her first-ever baseball pitch. Liz has been invited as a guest ceremonial pitcher for the upcoming KBO League game between the LG Twins and the KIA Tigers, scheduled on the 29th of April at 5 PM at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Seoul.
A Star in the Stadium
This isn’t Liz’s first close encounter with baseball. In February, she electrified audiences as a ceremonial batter, alongside fellow IVE member An Yujin, during JTBC’s ‘최강야구’ Season 3 finale. Her lively spirit not only uplifted the event but also ignited a spark that is already buzzing amongst fans anticipating her forthcoming performance.
Liz has expressed her excitement and gratitude, stating, “I’m incredibly honored to have my debut pitch with the LG Twins. I’m thankful for this valuable opportunity and wish all the players a thrilling game, free of injuries. Although I’m a bit nervous and thrilled about my first pitch, I’ll channel my hopes for LG Twins’ victory into my throw.”
Accomplishments of a Rising Star
Liz embarked on her music industry journey with IVE in 2021. Her bold features and solid vocal talents have helped her make a significant mark from the start. Beyond live performances, Liz has expanded her musical résumé by lending her voice to multiple drama OSTs, such as ‘Summer’ and ‘Heavy Love.’
Her artistic growth continues, as evidenced by her participation in lyric writing for the track ‘Thx U’ from IVE’s third album released earlier this year. Fans are even more thrilled as IVE gears up for performances at ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ and ‘Lollapalooza Paris’ this coming July.

IVE’s latest music release precedes their global festival stages, with the pre-released track ‘Rebel Heart’ sweeping domestic charts with a Perfect All-Kill (PAK). The group’s title track ‘Attitude’ spurred the viral Pogjugini (Runaway Guinea Pig) challenge, keeping their momentum and influence alive.
